I write lyrics in both Japanese and English. I can also direct how to sing fluently in both languages even if the singer doesn’t know the language. I write songs like I tell a story: When I listen to a melody, it tells me what the song is about. I'm merely a medium for the melody. Songs are not only about strong emotions; for me, songs are found in even the smallest scenes of your life. Songs reside everywhere.
My Story
I was born in Singapore, spent my childhood in Japan, then went back to Singapore again to spend my teenage years. I studied under a Canadian education program which took me to university in Canada. After transferring into another university in Japan, I've been working as a translator and interpreter for entertainment content, such as TV programs, manga, anime, and digital and analog games. At the same time, I got involved in indie music creation, which led me to becoming a professional lyricist afterwards.
